Catherine Flanagan, resident of Plainedge since 1992 has raised three children through Plainedge Public Schools. Mrs. Flanagan served as both the  Vice President and President of the Plainedge Board of Education. Mrs. Flanagan, a staunch advocate for the children and taxpayers of Plainedge, continues to bring tax stability to the district while delivering a high quality education.
